항만배후물류단지 운영 방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

As the enterprise economic activities have been globalized based on its competitive advantages, the logistics function is getting enlarged to an international level as well. The seaport and airport are considered as the key facilities for the functioning of global logistics base so many governments develop hinterlands of major ports and airports to attract logistics companies. Busan New Port is now developing their logistics hinterland to become the hub-port of Northeast Asia. The formation of 1,056,000 square meter hinterland of North port in Busan is in the stage of completion and 22 multinational corporations are going to move in there. Now Busan international logistics, Inc., is conducting their value-added logistics operations. Even though the circumstances are constantly changing, detailed studies related to the hinterland area are insufficient that substantive issues such as development plans and the present status, managerial and revitalization schemes of logistics center etc are not fully covered.

This paper reviews concepts of port hinterland's operating model and presents possible improvement proposals.
