Evaluation of Shipping Financial Ecological Environment in Qingdao

Abstract

The shipping industry is a capital-intensive industry with huge amount of investment and long investment cycle, which leads to high investment risk. These attributes determine that shipping industry can hardly achieve rapid growth by relying on its own strength, while financial service industry can provide strong support for the development of shipping enterprises. From the perspective of the development path of the international shipping center city, the world's famous shipping centers all have perfect financial service system, and the development of financial service industry promotes the construction of the soft environment of the entire international financial center. Shipping finance plays an important role in the international financial market and has an important influence on the development of the international shipping market. As an important port city in China, Qingdao has a good shipping finance industry foundation, and the shipping industry and shipbuilding industry have unique advantages. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the development status and problems of Qingdao's shipping finance and put forward relevant policy suggestions for improving its shipping finance capacity. Firstly, the main research object of this paper is the shipping financial ecological environment of Qingdao. Secondly, the status quo of Qingdao's shipping financial ecological environment is expounded from five aspects: shipping economic foundation, shipping financial development, credit environment, legal environment and governmental actions. Thirdly, an index system is established to evaluate the shipping financial ecological environment of Qingdao, and corresponding data of each index is collected. Entropy method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were used to carry out longitudinal evaluation. Then, Shanghai is selected as the comparison object to collect relevant data and make a horizontal comparison with Qingdao to clarify the future construction direction of Qingdao's shipping financial ecological environment from the perspective of benchmarking management. Finally, according to the analysis conclusion, relevant policy suggestions are put forward to improve the development of Qingdao's shipping financial ecological environment. And through the research, it puts forward some implications and suggestions for the Busan as a shipping finance center.
