dc.description.abstract In order to realize the maritime broadband communication system, it is necessary to reduce the information gap between land and sea. For this, various equipment of the ship must be connected to the communication network according to the standard protocol using the maritime broadband system, and it is necessary to make the navigation communication equipment and ship equipment IT. In this study, the current ship communication system, GMDSS(Global Maritime Distress Safety System) has disadvantages such as limitations in data transmission speed, so it is a routing protocol used on land to maximize the use of the maritime broadband communication system in the communication environment between land and ships. The purpose of this study is to analyze routing protocol and analyze the routing metric performance of the ship and to present a metric model that can improve the performance at sea. This paper studied the mobile ad-hoc network routing protocol for the maritime broadband communication system in the communication environment part of ship, land, and communication, which are the three key elements of the communication working group in the development of e-Navigation strategy. In Chapter 2, Among the communication environments, the technical characteristics and system configuration of terminals, base stations, and packet access routers for marine broadband communication systems that can supplement low-speed communication based environments such as HF/UHF/VHF used in coastal waters has been described. Chapter 3 expands the scope of application in the maritime environment by comparatively analyzing the introduction of ship relay stations, wireless backhaul, MANET(Mobile Ad hoc Network) and MANET Routing Protocols, which are presented as a methodology to overcome the limit of the maximum effective range. method was reviewed. Chapter 4 proposes a suitable protocol and metric in the maritime environment for application to the maritime environment, and measures the performance of the effective coverage distance when transmitting signals from the relay base station through the simulation of the maritime broadband communication system based on the performance analysis and experimental results. and analyzed it. And in Chapter 5, the conclusion of this paper, the advantages that the maritime broadband communication system can bring, and the future development direction are presented. -
