dc.description.abstract | The problem of target detection is of great interest for active sonar system in ocean environment. Since obstacle and mine are risk factors for operating ship and submarine, therefore in this thesis, modeling and simulation code based on the active sonar detection algorithm is developed and tested for a specific scenario to detect target. The active detection MOE is defined as Cumulative Detection Probability (CDP) calculated from Detection of Probability (PD). In order to calculate PD, Signal Excess (SE) is calculated by active sonar equation from sonar parameters and, SE calculate PD with log - normal distribution. Also, the specification of multi beam sonar system is used to derive two steered beam pattern. The developed codes are applied to demonstrate its applicability. Finally, discussions are presented. | - |
