| dc.description.abstract | Abstract : This dissertation aims at deriving the direction for the development of Busan Port for enhancing value-added. As compared to other major ports such as Rotterdam and Antwerp Port the value-added created by Busan Port is relatively small even though the volume of cargo handled is bigger in terms of container cargo. Therefore this dissertation at first reviewed the situation of 4 ports, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Busan and Ulsan in terms of facilities and cargo handled. After that it derived the position of Busan Port in comparison with those ports together with some implication for the direction of Busan Port development. Finally, it conducted questionnaire survey on the local experts about the macro and micro direction of Busan Port development and suggested sort, medium and long term direction for the development. | - |
