워터프런트 야간경관계획에 관한 연구 : 영도의 워터프런트를 대상으로

Abstract

Recently, many cities located in the coastal area are making nightscape enhancing plan to raise competitive power of the city.

But the nightscape of waterfront in our country is limited at the places such as bridges or big buildings located along the waterfront. And so far the total plan of waterfront nightscape couldn't be accomplished because of insufficiency of specialists and participants.

In contrast, many overseas countries have recognized the importance of nightscape plan service early and they prepared a nightscape plan and practice the policy.

In the result those coastal cities which have been succeeding in nightscape plan give a joy and impression to residents and tourists who visit that place as well. Also nightscape give a high sightseeing income in economic side.

Thus it is necessary to have the new recognition of waterfront and the master plan of nightscape also will be needed in our country.

Consequently, this study suggests the waterfront nightscape plan for Yeong-do where one of the famous marine tourism cities in our nation.

The results of this study are as follows.

1) The nightscape structure of Yeong-do is consist of「Urban area - Seaside area - Water-surface area」with background of the sky and mountain. From in these, the most important element is「Water-surface area」which decide the quality of nightscape in the waterfront.

2) The results of subjective evaluation regarding 8 nightscape area are as follows. D area, E area, H area have bad nightscape. (The worst nightscape is E area.) The other side B area, C area, F area and G area have good nightscape (The best nightscape is G area.) and A area, C area is general.

3) The theme of the nightscape plan of 8 waterfront area in Yeong-do are as follows. A area is「The light to be clear the gate of city」, B area is「The light to produces season feeling」, C area is「The light to concentrate a sight」, D area is「The light to shed the trees」, E area is「The light of land mark」, F area is「The light to get people」, G area is「The light to produces quite and peace」, H area is「The light to produces directivity」.

4) The waterfront nightscape plan for Yeong-do is to make the nightscape which is completed and to create the nightscape belt in the focus of seaside. Consequently, in the long-term view route development of Yeong-do circulation is necessary to connect the new viewpoint and whole viewpoint.
