dc.description.abstract Communication environment has rapidly evolved into All-IP based core network, which is centered on a variety of access network, and develops into ubiquitous environment for each user due to the development of multiple interface terminals and the spread of contents usage. Especially, mobile streaming technologies and integrated authentication technologies are needed for mobile users to provide seamless mobility. The technology for seamless mobility services is an important issue. The technology related to mobility by international standardization organization, it is just on the state of deducing requirements and basic research for mobility. Especially, mobility supporting technology in heterogeneous networks should be able to offer the same service with different access technology and network operator. As the recent development of mobile technology, users want to multi-service in anytime, anywhere, any terminal. To meet the needs of users, it causes a lot of expense that redesign of the entire network or expand the network of services areas. Especially, Multimedia service like streaming service is rapidly spread with UCC that make and distribute by each persons. Spreading of streaming UCC will be accelerated to increasing demand of streaming contents by new media like DMB, WiBro, IPTV. TV as a streaming broadcast service is the highest demanded service by users. It is evolving to Mobile TV(eg. DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting), MediaFLO) from Digital TV and changing to IPTV. Mobile IPTV is not a new technology. It is one of new IPTV service that is extended with wireless technology and mobility technology. A service of mobile IPTV don't restricted services on specific wireless technology. Convergence service will emerge as an important business model in the next generation network environment. Hence, much efforts have been concentrated into establishing the new concepts of convergence service scenarios via research and standardization activities. It needs to explore technical basis on unified management of IDs, certification, and profile management to provide the convergence services. Therefore, the testing and verification process are required for confirmation after applying the developed results into the actual network. This leads to the verification tests using the network and applying the convergence service scenario. In this paper defined UID management, profile management, and they are also implemented and tested for interoperability in testbed including heterogeneous wireless networks environment. Also architecture and roles of UID, Streaming Service Provider, information flows, unified profiles are studied, designed and implemented to be test. Therefore, IEEE, IETF is offering handover technology between heterogeneous network. In this paper, the IEEE 802.21 MIH information server is based on the network. It proposes an improved handover that L3 layer to optimize the handover process use of FMIPv6-PBU and MIH, and also executed simulation. The study result include the functional architectures, requirements and main information flows of UID and Streaming Service Provider during roaming to heterogeneous wireless networks. Testing software and profiles (database) are established for interworking tests of UID and Streaming Service Provider in testbed. -
