| dc.description.abstract | To draw the revitalization plans of ocean leisure sports of Jei-ju which fit to it's geographical conditions and climatic characteristics, this study has compared five other regions' climatic conditions and suggests followings divided into northern Jei-ju and southern Jei-ju according to their characteristics. 1) The climatic difference of northern Jei-ju and southern Jei-ju from Busan, Tongyeong and Wando The average temperatures of Northern and southern Jei-ju are higher than Busan, Tongyeong and Wando. This means that Jei-ju is the best place for ocean leisure sports in climatic respect. Jei-ju, which belongs to a semitropical climate and is surrounded by the sea, is affected by Kurosia warm current flowing from southwest all the year - round and the change of temperature between day and night is less than the land because of the influence of oceanic climate. It is considered Jei-ju has good conditions to enjoy ocean leisure sports. 2) The suitable ocean leisure sports in northern Jei-ju and southern Jei-ju climate characteristics The ocean leisure sports in northern Jei-ju is considered 'yacht', 'windsurfing' and so on which use the wind and in southern Jei-ju is 'scuba-diving' and 'snorkeling' because of it's warm temperature, also 'water-skiing' and 'personal watercraft‘ which gives the pleasure of the speed on the water surface. 3) The revitalization plan of ocean leisure sports of Jei-ju To develop ocean leisure sports of Jei-ju, It is needed to diversify ocean leisure sports items like Busan, Tongyeong and Wando, similar to the climate of Jei-ju, and establish sports facilities considering each area's climatic conditions. | - |
