Abstract

The purposes of this study are to analyze the management status of the port service industry and to make some suggestions for the management rationlization. From the results of the quantitative business analysis, we found some problems such as small business size, continuous decline of the profitability, sudden decline of the growth. And from the results of the qualitative analysis, we found the problems such as price dumping behavior, inflexible labor supply system, low negotiation power toward the shipping company, and low industry bonds.
