국제물류주선업체의 전문성이 화주의 선택에 미치는 영향

Abstract

치열해지는 국제물류주선업체 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보하기 위하여 주고객이 되는 화주기업들이 국제물류주선업체를 선택하게 되는 요인에 대해서 정확하게 파악하고 이에 맞는 서비스 제공 및 전략을 구축하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구 고찰 및 실무자 인터뷰를 통하여 화주기업들의 국제물류주선업체를 선택하는 요인을 제시하고 설문조사를 통하여 선택요인들에 의한 화주기업의 만족도와 재계약 의도를 분석하여 이후 국제물류주선업체에게 업무적 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다.

실증 분석 결과에 바탕으로 근무경력, 직책, 근무부서, 매출액, 계약기간 전반에 걸쳐 국제물류주선업체의 전문성은 화주의 재계약의도에 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용함을 알 수 있다. 국제복합운송업체는 안정적인 재무상태와 제반시설의 확보와 더불어 기업이 가지는 특화된 전문성과, 직원개인의 전문성을 키우고 강화시켜 화주의 기대에 부응하는 서비스 질을 향상시키는 것이 기업을 치열한 경쟁 속에서 높은 서비스 수준을 유지하고 이익 창출할 수 있도록 해야한다.|To retain competitiveness in the market of freight forwarders in intense competition, providing high quality service and constructing effective strategies are very important. Also it is significant to understand factor that main clients, shippers consider when they choose freight forwarders. This study suggests that factors of shippers that choose freight forwarder through reviewing precedent literature and interviewing. And it analyze the relation between choosing each factor of shippers and satisfaction or intention of contract renewal. Then, it will present business implication to freight forwarders.

Based on results of analysis, professionalism of freight forwarders is the important factor throughout career, position, department, sales and contract period when shippers renewed their contracts with them. Freight forwarders have to secure stable financial status and basic infrastructure and intensify the all professionalism of company and employee. Improving the service quality of freight forwarders through these strategies is the best way to survive fierce competition among companies and create profit.
