부산북항 체선 현상의 시계열 및 횡단면분석

Abstract

본 연구는 부산북항의 체선현상에 대해서 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 체선은 선박의 기항시간을 증가시키며 또한, 이와 연계되어 발생하는 체화시간은 항만의 운영 효율성에 중대한 영향을 미친다. 이에 따라, 본 연구는 부산북항 체선현상의 시계열 및 횡단면 분석을 위해서 연도별, 월별, 선종별, 선박크기별 체선시간을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해서 2012년부터 2021년 기간동안 선박의 최초 입항신고로부터 선박이 실제 선석에 접안한 시간의 평균과 표준편차를 구하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 부산북항의 체선은 특정월에 집중되는 계절성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 체선시간은 선박크기가와 양(+)의 관계를 보였으며, 주변국 상황 또는 천재지변과 같은 외부적인 요인에 의해서도 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.|The purpose of this study is to analyze the congestion in Busan North Port. Congestion leads to increase in a ship’s turnaround time at a calling port, which has an significant impact on efficiency of port operation. In this regard, this study performs the time-series and cross-sectional analysis of congestion in Busan North Port according to year, month, ship type and ship size. To this end, the dataset for the berthing times of ships that have called at Busan North Port for the period between 2012 and 2021 was collected. The results demonstrate that congestion in Busan North Port shows seasonal variations, as well as that a ship’s turnaround time is positively associated with ship size. Moreover, it is also shown that some external shocks from neighboring countries or force majeures affect congestion in Busan North Port. The findings in this study can be utilized in establishing short- and medium-term port operation strategies.
