Nowadays, gas hydrate has been being studied as application technology in various fields such as natural gas transportation, seawater desalination and gas separation/storage as well as the importance of energy source. In this study, hydrate formation kinetics and structural transition analysis in the presence of formation inhibitor were performed. And we conducted the experiments of hydrate formation kinetic and structure analysis using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy with R22(CHClF2) gas as formation gas in the addition of electrolyte(NaCl. MgCl2. NiCl2) that inhibits formation of gas hydrate. In the case of hydrate formation kinetics, it is confirmed that formation was started immediately after the reaction without induction time. And as a result of the analysis of formation kinetics dependent on the kind and the concentration of the added electrolyte and influence of memory effect, it represents that inhibiting effect of hydrate formation is more active in order of MgCl2>NaCl>NiCl2. R22 hydrate formed structure Ⅰ hydrate and there was no structural transition by addition of salt. Also, the data of the Raman spectra of R22 hydrate that were not reported in the past research were obtained in this study.
