PVC 창호업체의 효율적인 자재관리를 통한 경쟁력 강화에 관한 연구

Abstract

Domestic market for PVC window industry has grown rapidly since IMF. This is due to sharp increases in demand for PVC windows resulting from construction companies using more luxurious interior decoration to boost installment sales. However, in recent years construction industry has gone through a big recession with sky rocking raw material prices. Under the circumstances PVC widow distributors are faced with changes inevitably. Improvement in quality of products, sales promotion, and organization restructuring are part of the options they have to look into. More importantly how to manage construction materials are one of the key subjects they need to study more closely. Also, we should be aware that corporate profits are directly related to material management.

Construction materials are to be managed efficiently as it is one of the important factors to keep businesses going and to achieve prosperity contiunously. It is a common practice that most of the companies in the same industry were forced to cut down the costs of material managements using a variety of methods and strategies.

In summary, we would like to suggest how to improve ways of material managements theoretically in this thesis based on our research into interior and exterior environmental factors in the industry affecting material managements.
