양산 ICD 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

Yang San ICD(Inland Container Depot) had performed an important role for Busan Port and Korea's port & logistics industries, increasing international logistics cmpetitiveness and containers transportation competitiveness in Busan region dealing with 1330 thousand TEU in 2005 since its opening in Mar. 2000. However, it is necessary to seek for the new measure to revitalize Yangsan ICD since its cargo volume decreased rapidly due to the opening of Busan new port and Busan new port hinterland in 2006.

Therefor, this study constructed a evaluation model using AHP(analytic hierarchy process) and conducted a survey targeting local businesses and persons concerned in Yang San ICD to seek a measure for revitalization.

The result of the research is that Yang San ICD needs to switch functions to logistics centers(terminal facilities, logistics warehouse) for revitalization considering its advantage of facility location and through extension of utilization period and securing building-to-land ratio, existing and new businesses' stable activity should be guaranteed.

Furthermore, utilizing facilities such as railway station in ICD, active railway revitalization policy may increase cargo volume and Yan San ICD should perform its role as an inland logistics depot through revitalization of railway freight transportation in the national logistics system focusing on road freight transportation.
